Enjoying the sunshine over the last few days I hope you have too. Our keenest 10 runners went along to the penultimate Summer Series Event at Dinton Park, a lovely place. James C managed to take a second which puts him in contention for winning the whole series – he will have to do very well at the final Summer Series a week on  saturday to secure it.

An N.T owned property, but not yet open to public Dinton has been used for several years -the pictures show the lake from the house and the house from the lake. Delightful spot well done to SARUM for making this link and hosting the running. So last Summer Series is an Urban- in Wimborne a great chance to try Urban again in the light before we start on all the Night League events.

We have our annual Dorset Delight soon which has just opened on Fabian, so if you can help and havent yet contacted Tracy please do – remember there cheaper entry for helpers too.  Should be good.

Im writing this just before going into St Josephs School Christchurch where Ive recently mapped, to install a permanent course for them. – Its back to work time and lets be honest Im looking forward to another great term again and some more coaching.

If youve never seen it I have a website recently updated with lots of Orienteering on it- so why not have a look around there for good stories and pictures– and do share wherever you can as its all good. Thanks see you at tuesday Training, tonights session is short hills.
