Two great events in the last few days to report on. First of all, the SOC event out at Fritham Plain on Sunday. A cold but bright day saw a large turnout which caused a bit of a headache regarding car parking and map numbers. There was a good representation of WSX members (20 in total) and we had 5 top-ten places:

Eskarina – 9th Yellow; Kath Dean – 5th Orange; Lyra – 4th Light Green; James 4th Blue and Jolyon 8th Blue. Well done all of you.

Last night, WSX held the latest Night League event in Poole Town. In spite of horrendous traffic congestion causing people to arrive much later than planned, and some not even making it through in time, there was a turnout of 38. Tim Houlder had planned a challenging Odds and Evens event which saw the winner, Peter Suba, taking nearly 48 minutes to get all the controls. Other WSX top-tenners were Alan (Blanchflower) in 5th, James in 8th followed closely by his dad, Roger in 9th. We’re awaiting the latest League Tables following this event which will be posted on the Night League page in due course.

The next Night League event is this Thursday in Southampton City  – which should be a good one.

There are 5 local events coming up in February, including our Galoppen at Dur Hill and Holmsley Walk on February 11th.
