HARDY
RELAY RESULTS.
After over 2 hours
of running the final result was down to the wire with Quantocks narrowly
beating Wimborne into second place. All eyes were on the run-in track
as it was clear that both teams last leg runners were due at around
the same time but it was the younger runner from Quantocks who appeared
first to take the trophy. In all six teams took part but misfortune dogged the two Wessex Teams
with a lost dibber contributing to a “Did Not Finish”.
Although the rain couldn’t quite hold off until the last runners were in
nevertheless everyone there seemed to enjoy themselves and found the
area both challenging and, with the summer bracken, physical.

Results of the individual runs are given under, although not complete as
some runners did not fill in the registration sheet properly and,
as loan dibbers were reused, it is not possible to interrogate the
dibbers.
But I hope you all enjoyed yourselves.
